Are you connected directly to the Verison <BR>DSL modem, or do you have a router in between the system and the modem? <BR>What is your NIC and is it connected and active? \ibmcom\lantran.log <BR>should tell you this. Some of these silly people are looking for a <BR>specific MAC address. Is Windows XP on the same machine as eCS? <DIV>Chuck, my DSL modem is a Westell Versalink Model 327W supplied by Verizon. It has a telephone line connection and four Ethernet connections, one from my Dell Windows PC and one from my old IBM Aptiva with eCS.</DIV>
<DIV>The eCS PC recognizes the connection and warns that it may be disconnected if it is powered off.
