[Discussion] How to edit a binary file

Actually, I have edited a number of binary files when I found what I
wanted to change. Normally I used XTreeGold or ZTB (ZTreeBold). They
worked well for me. Now, I am taking courses in web page design and I
am using Picardy 3 as my text editor. I have purchased all (I think)
HTML editors under OS/2-eCS but none of them want to work my way. All I
need is a simple editor that can call up Firefox to display what I am
working on.

With ZTB I cannot find in any Picardy 3 files the fallowing string
*.html. Since my course works with *.htm string, I have to keep looking
up and editing html and htm extensions. Putting ZTB in hex mode did not
find that string of characters. Is there a way that I can find the
string *.html and change it to *.htm? ?

Regards,
Zoltan
