It was Dave that "mentioned" Linux. Let's not get off-topic!
Brian has a camera(, etc.), a Win2K and eCS setup, and wants to use that camera to communicate (Skype) with relatives. The camera Sw says it requires WinXP.
Brian,
Advice : Try it with Win2K anyway! As Dave mentioned it may be 'only' the 'capture' Sw that is made for XP. The 'drivers' may _do_ for talking and looking.

IF you're "tight" on space, _maybe_ it's time to consider a 20 or a 30 GB.
