[Discussion] USB Limitations [WAS: USB installation]

To everyone,
Separately, I haven't had (YET!) any problems getting HDDs on USB connectors / cables to work with Warp 4.4. Most of them were < or = 8.4GB.
ANY one KNOW IF I'd run "into" trouble with a larger HDD?
(Not quite equivalently, why would HDDs NOT have a problem when MemSticks would(/do) have a problem?)
I'm going to try writing/reading to a 32GB HPFS partition on a "200"GB HDD - real soon now ;-) . We will (well, _I_will_) see IF it is recognized. (You may remember me asking about HPFS limitations a few months back. WE settled that, at 64GB.)
I've since backed up the ~40GB of "stuff" I had on the 200GB. Next I've partitioned it as: 8GB Fat32(16?), 32GB HPFS, and the rest, ~150GB, as NTFS. I still haven't 'replaced' the 40GB of "stuff" back onto its NTFS part'n. - but that's because I decided I should TRY to make sense of ALL I had saved. An appropriate directory tree _WILL_ be created! :-)
Sincerely,
Thomas Clayton
