[Discussion] USB installation

Kaya,

What I used with Warp 4.4 (Warp 4, FP15 _but_ using FDISK _not_LVM) was Chris Wohlmeguth's USB drivers. (I definitely don't think I got his last name correctly spelled!) They are - or WERE(!) - available for free on the web, somewhere. They're also known to work with eCS (early versions?), though I believe they are only USB 1.1. (I'd even gotten Chris's to work under Warp3 FP?36?. In fact, now that I think of it, most all of my 'dalliances', with USB and Warp, were the Warp3.)

For USB 2.0, I think you _HAVE_TO_ get ($$) the IBM made ones - that include updated USB 1.1 support, as well. They _should_be_ within (nearly) any version (> or = 1.1?) of eCS that you have.

Sincerely,

Thomas Clayton
