I have only 1 and 4 GB sticks, both FAT32 and JFS. When the topic was current
on the dfsee-support list others there did report success with 8 GB sticks in
FAT32.
Jan agreed with those who noted that some USB sticks simply don't work while
most will. All mine are Verbatim, partly because everyone I recall using them
reported success, and partly because that's what's been on sale at Office
Depot or Max when I've wanted more. I believe I recall correctly that the
least success was with high-end brand-name sticks with "extra features" --
usually involving hidden partitions and suchlike trickery.
I must note that this fits perfectly with my general hadware experience with
OS/2, now eCS, since 1992 and 2.0: the more "generic" the hardware, the more
likely it works well with OS/2 and eCS.
