Trying to dual-boot will probably screw up everything and not work.

VirtualBox is getting better and better.  I have also used Parallels 
when it was the only choice for the Mac.  I think that VirtualBox will 
win out because of the strength behind it (Oracle).

A friend in the local user group has been running eCS on his big Mac 
since the first release of Parallels but is in the process of moving to 
VirtualBox.
