[Discussion] Now network (printing), sigh.

Having great fun here again. Learning the Mac (Feels good
to be back with the WPS, though!) and managed to get the
Mac and the XP machine using the printer through the router
but not eCS. I
*know* there's a way, I just can't find it.

SLPR1 properties appear to be correct, LPD server is
192.168.1.1 and the printer is 192.168.1.12. I can ping it
(and the Mac) but can't print to it or connect to the Mac.
The latter is annoying but not critical, I can always
e-mail docs between the two since I'll be taking the Mac
with me for taking minutes and other notes I think I'll
want on the eCS machine but the printer!!

I've checked the settings through its IP address and copied
the printer name to the hosts file, but spooler appears to
be redirecting LPT1 to the SLPR although the printer output
port is SLPR1 192.168.1.1:192.168.1.12

More help, please!

Joyce
