You can not connect it to an existing network unless it is on the same subnet.
Since your current subnet is 192.168.1.xx and the router is 192.168.0.1 which
is a different subnet they can not communicate.
What I do in this case is connect a computer directly to the the router by
cable and change its address.
To initially connect to the router you can use DHCP which will give the
computer a 192.168.0.xx address. Then you can use your browser to change the
router address.
If you do not use DHCP you will need to use the TCP/IP settings to change the
computer address to 192.168.0.xx. Then you can use your browser to change its
address.
