You have to determine what you are trying to secure.  WEP is probably 
sufficient to keep the casual users out of your network.  WPA2 is 
appropriate if you are trying to really secure your data transmissions 
as well.  WPA2 is the only protocol approved by NSA (National Security 
Agency) for the transmission of top secret material.

When I worked for IBM in Europe, I was the IBM Federal Systems Division 
lead systems engineer for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence 
offices of US European Command, US Navy Europe, US Army Europe, and a 
couple of "Army Field Station" sites (a euphemism for NSA listening 
posts).  All of those installations had some small security concerns 
(all of the site IT installations were in shielded rooms).
