What level of eCS?  eCS 2.0 RC7 has SATA support in Dani's driver, eCS 1.2 does not.

For eCS 1.2, one can either enter the BIOS and set the support to compatibility mode for the drive controller or make up a diskette with Dani's latest driver to be loaded at boot.
