But eComStation 1.2 is behind the curve with JAVA updates and PolarBar wouldn't send attachments because of this, and, besides that PolarBar's no longer supported.

First platform to complete* was Windoze and Columba seems very nice: stable, all the features I need, makes sense in the way it operates. I'm waiting for eCs 2.0 GA to start building a new machine and am hoping Columba works there so I can avoid Win most of the time.

I had never heard of it before... can't say I'll care to use it myself but I am replying with it from an eCS 1.2 system now. I installed the Windows version via the Innotek Runtime method with ar5os2. I am using Java15. I do have swingswt in place but I am not sure if this app is requiring it. There is no Java15 for OS/2 but by taking installing Java15 onto a Windows machine and copying the files to OS/2 (1.5_07 to be specific) and then copying the executables from Java 1.4_09 from the Innotek Java over the Java 1.5_07 exectutables it does function. Java 1.4_09 did not work for this.
