Thank you JON for attempting to help me. 
 
I guess I mis-stated my dilemma.  I only have *three* printers (LPT1-LPT3) available to redirect to LPD   
ports.  My other os/2 system has 9 (LPT1-LPT9) to choose from.  How do I create the other six, so that I   
can *redirect* them to other places where they live.   
 
If you open "LOCAL SYSTEM" "PRINTERS" and open the "Install Local Printer" object, it does not let you add   
any above three - they are already defined.  So there are only three to choose.   
 
I have looked, but as of yet not found the "magic bullet" defining 9 printers.  I have even looked at the   
registration object, but don't feel confident to alter it.
