[Discussion] can you recommend a laptop?

With regard to .DOCX , everyone on this list know that a Federal judge has injoined MS from selling, bundling, ... distributing MS-Word on grounds of patent infringement? I "picked up" that tidbit, when led thru infoWorld some two weeks ago to another subject.
