[Discussion] Sorry - Have a Windows Question

I do apologize, but I can't find an answer to this question.

I was given a Thinkpad R30 that was supposed to be preloaded with W2K: It was but also had an illegal copy of XP installed so 
you could boot to either OS. I have a legitimate copy of 2K and reinstalled it on the R30 and changed the dual boot option so 
that only the 2K comes up.  I want to get rid of the XP (takes up almost 2 GB) but I'm afraid to just delete the WINDOWS 
folder leaving the WINNT.  Anyone have a suggestion?  I do have to use this Windows computer to perform work for a special 
client.
