Dear Jim:
Ah. You're not RAID mirroring. Rather, you're making identical copies.
How about the "Copy Partition" in some drive utility: Partition Magic Symantec - was Power Quest), Partition Manager (Paragon Software), or this list's favorite drive utility DFSee (?) ?
I've never used DFSee but many on this list speak highly of it. So, If someone says that will do it, I'd suggest you try it.
I've got older Part. Magic (3, 4) which still "knows" HPFS part'n.s when they see them and recently "backed-up" my Warp 3, 3C part'n.s with them. From what I've "listened to" on this list, at some latter version, P. Magic STOPPED "supporting" HPFS volumes.
Part. Manager I got free a month, or so, ago from the Give-Away-Of-the Day website. I used it briefly running under WinXP. (You _HAVE TO_ install it, the day you download it.) I copied the part'n.s from a "squeaky old" 20GB HDD to "silent running" 20GB HDD with it. Other than that, I haven't played around with it and have NO idea whether it "supports" HPFS (or JFS) in ANY way, what-so-ever.
Sincerely,
Thomas Clayton
