Jim,
WRT, PCLinuxOS; What year (version) are you running?
My involvement dates ONLY back to 2007 (vn. ~1.0) and the "edition" of THAT year.
After using it for some weeks (off and on) as it installed, I tried updating Firefox and(?) OpenOffice and then they wouldn't run. So I RE-installed and tried to Update again - from "The" repository in Indiana - and then the OS wouldN'T O(perate), anymore. (I _think_ it may have tried to DL and install a video driver update.) Anyway, I threw up (my hands) at that point and said "Enough!".
So I'm curious as to "how it's going" for YOU.
BTW, I got my copy from "on-Disc.com"
Sincerely,
Thomas Clayton
