[Discussion] Removing USB Thumb Drive

What this means is that you have drive objects in the drives folder that are
invalid or have invalid/unformatted partitions on them. This especially
includes networked drives that no longer respond or are invalid. The drives
folder tries to get the properties of all the objects in it. If any fail to respond,
the drives folder gets stuck until the request times out. It will eventually time
out and you will see all the objects in the folder, and get your system
response back, but you may have to wait awhile.
