As you've been told, the first part is a "definite yes."
The second part is a "probably not" if you want to use it back and forth
between a Windows computer and an OS/2 computer. I couldn't get that to
work. It works fine between OS/2 and MAC computers.
Interestingly a FAT formatted key here can be read in Windows / OS/2 /
Mac, but if a long-name file is put there by OS/2 only OS/2 and the Mac
show the long file name; Windows truncates it to 8.3. If a long-name file
is put there by Windows, only Windows and Mac show the full name. I'm
guessing but I think I recall OS/2 stores the long file name in EAs on a
FAT drive.
