It is going to take a little more info than what you have provided.

What is the connection setup?  Are you connected directly to the Verison 
DSL modem, or do you have a router in between the system and the modem? 
  What is your NIC and is it connected and active?  \ibmcom\lantran.log 
should tell you this.  Some of these silly people are looking for a 
specific MAC address.  Is Windows XP on the same machine as eCS?  If 
not, you may have to play games with the MAC address.
