I thought it had to be as simple as that, but I didn't think to look there.  I just tried it on a new thumb drive and it formatted fine -- at least that's what both DFSee and MAC OS X report.  And I'm able to write and read on the MAC.  However, eCS mounts it but says it can't find anything on it -- that it's not properly formatted.


Obviously, my eCS is not properly set up to recognize and handle FAT32 -- as you say:

Well, config.sys loads FAT32.IFS.  So that must not be sufficient.  Can anyone tell me what else I need to be able to handle FAT32-formatted drives ?
