Hi Tom,
I only use about 2GBs for the OS/2 2.1 and Warp v3 VM each. For the Warp 4, I have around 8GB. I have additional virtual disks added to each VM.
Don't get me wrong, I love the physical machine and still have my trusty OS/2 Warp v3 (favorite flavor) on a NICE super EISA motherboard with Adaptec SCSI drives (4 2GB drives) in an EISA slot, 10/100 3COM NIC, Trinity powerup 133MHz overdrive CPU, 128MBs RAM, ATI Mach32 VLB video card, and a Crystal Semiconductor-based sound card (what ever happened to Timur Tabi??).
Sincerely,
James Cannon

Dear James:
Let me 'check my hearing':
you have ALL versions - 2.0, 2.1, 2.11, 3, and 4 (and eCS?) -
running (or available to run) in virtual machines.
Is that right?
That would probably bring forth questions (from folks who know about this stuff - NOT me! ;-) ) like:
What virutalization software?
What Host OpSys?
How much HDD space?
What CPU?
Do you prefer spaghetti or mostacelli? :-0
Huh?
:-D
I must say, I hadn't thought of doing things that way. After all, I've dedicated a WHOLE system to _trying_ to run the OS/2. (BTW, eCS isn't, at this time. Even though it SEEMed to install OK.) I'm going to keep trying.
Sincerely,
Thomas Clayton
