I used it many years ago, no longer bother with it since I now use JFS partitions and no longer 
have windows on my primary machine.  I can't recall any specifics, I *believe* all I did was read, 
not write to hpfs.  I do recall that I had some problems that I attribute to having ntfs & hpfs 
visible at the same time.  These days, as Julian also mentioned, I use FAT32 (the one shipped w/ 
eCS).  I believe FAT32.ifs is more stable than pinball.sys (which is also very old).  I have not 
had any problems reading/writing to FAT32 with NTFS & JFS and use one partition on my laptop for 
data transfer during the occasional times that I need to transfer.
