Hi, Ernie, Don --  Quiet indeed -- I'd forgotten there was
a MAC thread.  Oh, well.

I'm looking at a new laptop, too.  There are a couple of
Windoze programs I must use but other than that, I'm pretty
free for OS.   I will be staying with eCS on my desktop so
if (any of) you have any suggestions re the Macbook v. the
Air, I'd appreciate seeing it.  No matter what I do, I'm
going to have to get a USB-Serial port (If I could get a
DOS program off the notebook before last, that cuts down to
one program for whichI need Windoze) and I know there's no
problem doing that with a Mac.

Is there any way to not have those icons at the bottom
dance around and grow as the cursor goes over them?
