[Discussion] Wireless Game AdapterS: Any Gotchas?

Dear POSSI:

exchanges here, I've gathered that Wireless Game Adapters /ARE/ our way
of getting around having to have Warp / Merlin / eCS specific drivers
for wireless cards - PCI and PCMCIA. 

Are there any "gotchas" that you've learned about 'the hard way' that I
should be aware of?

I'm thinking of going ahead and getting a Linksys WGA54G (finally). So
this is my 'final pre-flight check'.
