1) To 'fix' the position for command windows, I believe it is Shift,
not Alt, to establish a position.
2) I have found that, once I move the window, I have to close it in its
new position to get the location 'recorded' and then open it again.
The second open will be in the new location.
3) The original question, to establish a 'long window,' I have an
object defined as "Long eCS Cmd" defined as follows:
Path and file name: *
Parameters: /k mode co80,102
Working directory; d:
[where 'd;' is the drive that I want
set in the new window.]
This always opens as a 'long window;' with a scroll bar, but still long
and 80-char wide. And, it opens where any other Cmd line window would
open.
