[Discussion] eCS on Large Disk

My new Dell PC has a 500 GB disk drive.  When I tried to install eCS on a 1.5 GB partition F:, the system booted from the eCS installation CD 1 and the said: "Insert eComStation Installation CD-ROM and press any key."  Since that CD 1 is the Installation CD-ROM, the message doesn't make sense, and each key press resulted in the same message.

When I previously tried to install OS/2, a message said that the installation had sensed an over 8 GB disk, and quit with that message.

Does anyone know whether eCS also has that 8 GB disk limit, or know of any reason for the above symptoms.  If there is an 8 GB limit, is there a fix for that problem.  Regards, Ira Saxe
