[Discussion] Elliot's collection [was Free OS/2 Material Available (with Nostaglia)]

I went looking thru my free Juno e-mail folders - an account that
remains with me, even though I left it ?-( - when I did my monthly
clean up-and-out of that account this past weekend. I found I'd made a
folder with just his and my letters about 'the stuff' in it.
(Seperately, there was a folder with your 'announcement' of 'the
stuff's' availability - and replies / inquiries about it.) From a quick
glance at Elliot's letters, it seems he was going to take and 'present'
that 'collection' to the ?HOW Gig? and/or Leo Martin. I don't know IF
that ever took place.

My thoughts on 'the stuff' were
/you/ might be seeing some of your old stuff If you were helping his
Mom clean things out
and
/IF/ anyone in the Phoenix AZ area - or beyond - had an interest in
'old OS/2 stuff', this /might be/ a possible source.

Lastly, I'd expressed my condolences at the time, on-line in some sort
of condolences e-book. I remember writing something about grieving for
someone I'd never met /in person/(*) and, yet I grieved for, because I
had exchanged e-mails with him about how he was doing thru various ups
and downs in his health and had /hoped to/ meet. I could repeat that to
his Mom, at this late date, /IF/ you'd think that'd be helpful.

(*)unless he had been an attendee at Warpstock '98 but I don't remember
/specifically/ meeting him there

BTW, it was Evelyn Hitch, I now think, who sold me the OS/2 t-shirt
/and/ the subscription to /E.A./ there. Your picture, accompanying the
article doesn't seem to 'jog' my mind as /the/ person. Although, I seem
to recall someone being nearby talking at 100 miles an hour (you?).

Very Sincerely,

Thomas Clayton
