[Discussion] ThinkFree Office: Anyone Know ...

Hi Thomas,

I briefly looked into this about 1½ year ago. There was some discussion
about it either on this list or on the eCS list on Yahoo, since at the time
work on getting OOo to run on eCS was not going very fast with verion 2.0.
Now we have a working version on OOo version 2. You do need a subscription
to access the latest version.

And alternative for internet based office applications is Google Apps, which
also claim to be able to save in Word and other formats. I have used it for
simpel documents.
