It only matters when there is one of the 'boosted' "G" speeds routers that claim 108mb but 
most broadcom based drivers (windows) have 'Afterburner' settings buried in the properties 
that can be turned on to take advantage of these 'special' settings. So if you were using 
a 'boosted' router, the mfgr's products will do the higher speeds if you purchase one that 
matches the speed of the router. If you are using Tomato or DD-WRT in the router as 
firmware even if your router is not one of these more expensive 'faster' routers, you can 
turn on the 'afterburner' setting and it will work when someone with a compatible 'faster' 
"G" card comes by.

The ASUS series are smaller and use usb power and have a nice carrying case with 
everything, short ethernet cable, the external power supply and the usb power cable. Some 
don't do WPA encrytpion, though.
