I believe the reason this is happening is because you have Windows 16 associated with a "type" that
matches the files.
e.g. file xyz.pgm is file type xyz graphics
On the Windows 16 program icon you have it associated with file type xyz graphics.
If you remove the xyz graphics type association from the Windows 16 program then it will not appear
on the Open As menu for each of the graphics files.
Remember you can also re-order the programs that appear in the Open As pop-up menu in order to
make a different one the default.
