[Discussion] USB Memory Stick Surprise

As you may recall not too long ago I was lamenting about problems using my PNY 512MB stick on my T20.
Problem 1 was that when I plugged it in I was never notified that it was attached, unlike what occured on my desktop PC.
Problem 2 was that it took forever to load or retrieve files.

This evening I happend to plug an Imation 1GB stick in and immediately the message popped up that I had attached it.
Then when I tried to read it...only took a few seconds.

My guess is that because the PNY is only 1.1 and the Imation is 2.0, plugging the faster Imation into the slower 1.1 port
on the Thinkpad made the difference.
