The impression I got was that 2000 was smaller and a bit less fat than XP and
quite a step up from NT on which it is based.  In what ways do you find XP
better besides security (no small issue),

Vista: I've heard that you really need a dual processor if you want to enjoy it
- Intel giveth and Microsoft taketh away..
