Windows 2000 was far better than Windows 98. Windows XP was/is -- in
many respects -- far better than Windows 2000. But Win2000 was a
virus factory and an invitation to hackers.
I haven't found a reason to look at Windows Vista yet. None of the
"gosh don't you want THIS?" features that Microsoft stresses have
made me at all interested in it. It really, really is a pale shadow
of what's available on Mac OS X.
