Dear Group:

While flipping through old copies of

The Cobb Group; _Inside OS/2_

to decide whether I wanted to keep them,
I came across something that MAY be of
GREAT interest to us; specifically

"Running CHKDSK on the startup drive"
 pp. 11-12 of Vol.4 No.2
 (February 1995)(Copyright 1995)
.
At the end of the article is a statement to the effect
~you can run CHKDSK on your boot drive IF you use this
  UNdocumented technique~

CHKDSK C: /F /aUtOcHeCk
.
The word "aUtOcHeCk" IS CASE sensitive!

Now remember, also, that this was in the days of
OS/2 Borg (despite the date on the periodical!) and,
so might NOT apply to Warp and Merlin.

We'll have to test and see; but I thought you'd like to know!

Sincerely,

Thomas Clayton
