[Discussion] Apologies - for the Late Mail!

Dear Group:

I have succeeded in getting Yahoo Web-mail to work like an 'ordinary
account' on my USB flash drive (under the library's MS-WinXP) using
Thunderbird Portable (cf.: PortableApps.com ). 

(I don't know if it'll work with the 'desktop' version of Thunderbird
on, either, a Win or Warp system. It'll /probably/ work with the Win
and /not/ Warp.)

It /DID/ (on /two/ occasions) /send/ mail outbound from the Thunderbird
app. on my 'flash' drive through the library's system. Whether the
library computer system administrators ("The System Lords" as the movie
/Tron/  with Jeff Bridges called them) have changed their settings /OR/
something /else/ changed I don't know /BUT? I've found, in my 'Drafts'
folder, several letters I /thought/ I had /sent/! So my apologies if my
soon to arrive reply letters seem /passe/.

(It won't be /too much/ trouble to cut and paste their contents ... but
I /really/ had thought they were 'goners' already and our server had
'gone on the fritz'.
