You can make PolarBar the default mailer by navigating to it.

Did you update OS2.INI before exiting? WPURLDEFAULTSETTINGS is used by
both Firefox and Thunderbird to locate the default mailer and brower.
PolarBar has its own parm in its settings to select the browser. Just
make sure that you point it to FIREFOX!L.EXE

I think UnderstandingBrowser may be an old, obsolete entry. I would
delete the WPURLDEFAULTSETTINGS entry in OS2.INI and then run IAI to
clean it up.
