Zoltan,

I still use SCSI because of speed, and because it is so backwards compatable. 
However, I have built ECS machines with the Western Digitial 10,000 RPM SATA 
Raptor drive; and they are very fast and work very well. There is now a 74MB and 
a 158MB version. It is pricey compared to regular IDE but in my opinion the speed 
is worth it.

BTW - SATA stands for serial ATA.
