I guess I will get rid of my two SCSI drive and their controller, I am
not attached to them. My requirements are limited, if the drive
responds today, its OK. :-) The amount of files I have, much over
1/2mil, are important and I referring to them on occasion. They are
mostly CAD drawings. I would like to end up with only two hard drives.
Perhaps my neighbors will not complain about brown-outs. Also, I guess
with the mother board I have I must live with plain IDE drive. As you
said, they are affordable. As long as I can use DOS, I am happy, My CAD
program will not run under OS/2.
On the other hand, I have no problem replacing the mother board if that
is the consensus.
