[Discussion] OOo installation where I want it?

Is that possible at all to install OpenOffice 2.0 where I please.  The
*.wpi installer grays out the install directory. 

I sure miss David Eckard <swordedge at earthlink.net> postings. Did he fall
off the end of the earth?
