Last year:  Scotland, Ireland
2005:       Germany

Treo worked great.  Lots of text messaging; a few E-Mails; a few phone
calls; several uses of Web to check status of flights.

The key:  Check with your provider for special "International Roaming"
rates.  If you ever call international [from USA to...], you may also
want to check for "International Calling" rates.  There are significant
savings to be had.
