I purchased a new PC which had no parallel port. Local shops want CAD$50.00 for a USB to Centronics. I have a HP LJ1100 which has the mini centronics port. I found an eBay seller in Hong Kong selling cables for US$1.89 ea. pus US$18.00 for shipping. I bought 3 cables - delivered US$24.09 Just plugged one in and it works just fine. Don Burch
