My Junkspy is working fine.
Some time in the recent past one of the external detectors shut
down.  You may want to double check your external detectors, I
don't think this is your problem but one never knows.

Settings -> Detector -> External Detectors.  Check disable and try
again.  If it is still not working right you should put it back
like it was.

If you have access to your account via webmail (many isp's now
allow that) you can check your account that way and determine if
the messages are arriving that way.
