I knew the term but nothing else.

An ISP will have set up the SPF records for their email servers.  In my case I
have my own domain and have to set up most of that kind of stuff myself.  Not
knowing anything about SPF I had not put the record in my DNS.  Now I have
added a SPF record and I need to figure out what needs to be done to make it
correct.
