HI all,

Help Help!!

Please read carefully...

I had to install a new system on my computer. I added a 4.3GB hard-drive, installed ECS 1.2 flawlessly on Drive F:. I have access to all files on
the os/2 Warp 4 Drive C: and all the data on Drive D;

I have some Win 31 apps that ran just fine on Warp 4 for years. I tried running Corel, and it failed, so I installed both Corel 3 and Corel 4
without a hitch onto Drive F.

Same problem persists :-( When I try to start any of the Corel apps it hangs after the Corel logo appears. The hourglass remains and the CPU usage
goes to 100%. I have to use <CTRL><ESC> to get to the window list task menu to close the the entire window 3.1 session. I cannot *just* close Corel
4.

There is an empty temp file generated each time.

[F:\os2\mdos\winos2\system]dir f:\temp

The volume label in drive F is HUNTER_ECS_.
The Volume Serial Number is 695D:6C15.

Finally, to be sure it wasn't the Winos2 on ECS, I copied a few necessary DLL and OLB files to the winos2\system directory, and succeeded in running
EXCEL for Win 31 located on Drive C: - BTW, it looks good with the SCITECH SNAP graphics driver running 1280x1024 with a Matrox Millenium.

I run 2gbfix in Autoexec so to keep windoze happy.

I'm in a time crunch - so what have I missed! It looks like it should go, and has to be some simple thing I've forgotten! <Heavy Sigh>

Peace,

Jim Scott
