I'm using zip to create the backup files. My code manages the multiple
generations of backups (full and incremental) and is kicked off by a cron
job in the dark of the night so it's all automatic other than burning
backups to DVD from time to time. Every partition is backed up to a
dedicated partition on the "other" drive, and most partitions are backed
up from a reboot (automatic using setboot) to a maintenance partition -
this avoids any problems associated with backing up an active partition.

See you in Windsor?
