Dear POSSI:
BTW, and Off-Subj. as well, Comcast had some telemarketing firm
calling on their behalf with a special "triple-play" offer: $79 /
month for a year (then $139? but I may be moving by that time). I
ACCEPTED but after getting my info and transferring me to Comcast?
"Scheduling", the connection got lost. :-(
According to Comcast's own sales people they can't confirm my
acceptance and are unable to offer similar terms! They will
"attempt" to let their marketer's know that I'm interested, STILL.
:-~
I HAD wanted to get HIGH-Speed by July 21 (for my personal B-day
present). Oh well!!! Still HOPING someONE will call AGAIN!
Question (just thought of and not intended from beginning):
Anyone on this list USING such 'triple' connectionS?
Plural because they're promising Cable TV, Cable Inet, and Voice
over that Cable - through seperate analog phone connectors on
'their' box (an Arris TP402P that I've looked up, already).
I'm ESPECIALLY interested in how the QUALITY of 'Telephone over IP'
thru a telephony modem compares to regular Telephone over copper
wire pair.
Anyway, from home Inet 'limbo',
Tom Clayton
