[Announce] A22 Giveaway

Rosenthal & Rosenthal, LLC has donated a laptop to Warpstock this year:

I will be giving away a ThinkPad A22m with 512MB RAM. This model was
originally a 2628-P1U, featuring a 15" XGA display and an 800MHz PIII
CPU (see

however I have upgraded it to a PIII/850, added RAM, swapped out the
modem-only card for the Intel combo, replaced the 24X CD for a 6X DVD in
the UltraBay, and upgraded the hard drive from a 10GB Travelstar to a
40GB Toshiba. Currently, I have installed eCS 1.2 (latest beta refresh
media), however, the taker of the machine will be required to purchase
an eCS license if he does not already own one.

The system does have a working battery and will come with an AC adapter,
as well, however the AC jack on the rear of the unit is finicky (well
worn, as we say). This in no way detracts from the usability of the
machine on a flat, level surface, though it does make it difficult to
use on one's lap.
